This Master-class is open to all types of horse.


You will learn everything you need to know about showing and producing your horse, including the most suitable classes for your horse to enter, the correct use of products to get right look for the show ring and plaiting and trimming.


It is an intense course designed to give you as much riding practice as possible and enable you to get the most from your day.


Everyone is welcome, regardless of how much experience you have, you'll learn how to make the most of what you've got.


You may also like the option of a private lesson the day before or the day after your master-class.  Just contact me to confirm availability and then include it on your booking form.

The day will  run as follows:

  • 8.15am  - 9.00am Coffee, Registration, Introductions
  • Tack up - initial  safety assessment
  • Ridden Assessment - as a class then individually in the Outdoor School
  • In Hand Assessment - individually, assessment of horse,   tack and in hand presentation
  • Trimming and Make-over - trimming tips, make-over tricks of the trade
  • Ridden Showing Class Practice - the go round, changing the rein, the individual show, the role of the steward, how to get spotted!
  •  LUNCH!
  • Horse and Rider preparation for the Mock Show - under supervision..
  • Horse and Rider Turn Out Assessment
  • Mock Showing Class - an external judge will assign marks
  • Presentation of rosettes, goodie bags and review of the day
  • Finish
  • Don't forget to bring your best show stuff - the mock show is will be judged as a "real" class!
